Thanksgiving

"Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances..."  1 Thessalonians 5:16

God has blessed me so much in my life. I have so many things for which to be thankful for. What a wonderful day we had surrounded by family. We started out at my parents house. We had an early dinner at around 2:30. The cousins had a fun time playing together. And we ate a lot of great food. We even played outside for a little while after dinner, enjoying the beautiful mild weather! Thanks to an idea from the girls's class at church, we did a little reflecting with everyone after dinner. Each person (all 14 of us!) put his/her name in a bag, and one person would draw a name and say a fond memory that they are thankful for with that person.
After a few hours with my side of the family, we went over to Mike's parents' house to have dinner with all the Epleys! That was a great time as well, full of good food and good conversation. Nick and Melissa brought their two month old twins, so we are definitely growing in numbers. It was a packed house.
We feel so blessed to have our family so close. Both sets of grandparents live in the same city as we do. Plus all the cousins that are so close! We are so fortunate. Happy Thanksgiving!!
