Monster's University

We had a fun family date this past weekend. We took the girls to see Monster's University. They loved it! And Mike and I enjoyed it as well!

Father's day and grandma's birthday

My mom's birthday and Father's Day fell on the same day this year, so we had a BBQ with the family at my parents' house. The funnest part of the day for the kids, was having Uncle Brian set up some of his tree climbing gear so the kids could go on a big swing!

I'm blessed to have these three amazing dads in my life!

And the girls could not be more blessed with the greatest daddy. He is so loving and attentive with them.

I was very blessed to grow up with this amazing guy for a dad!

I can't believe I didn't get any pictures with my mom but I'm super grateful for her and that we got to celebrate her life today!

Here's the super cool swing the boys set up!

Yeah, the girls got pretty high!

New Sink

We needed a new sink for the basement kitchten. So we decided to take our sink from upstairs, put it downstairs, and get us a new sink! I was super excited about this. Our sink is pretty small, and not very deep, which can be slightly annoying. So the girls helped Mike work on taking out the old sink, and putting in a new one. They are such hard wokers!

Here's our old sink:

And here's the new one!

Last day of school

This has been a great year for Ava! She loved first grade. Her teacher was amazing. And the students in her class were all really sweet. We are super excited for summer, but a little sad to say goodbye to first grade.

Ava's table: Nolan, Larkin, Ellie, and Ava.

The whole class on their second to last day!

Garden and Sleeping beauties

I'm excited to say we got our entire garden planted! I love having a garden. I love fresh veggies, and I love that the girls can help out with it.

I planted this clematis two summers ago. I love how it climbs up the fence!

These tall grasses are pretty sweet too! And we have tons of irises blooming.

Now on to the veggies.
Red and yellow onions:

Mike made me these cool boxes for mother's day this year. This one contains potatoes.

Lettuce, cilantro, and rosemary:

Tomatoes!! There are Romas, sweet Cherry, and one other big kind.

Orange and yellow peppers, and Serrano peppers in the box:

Ava and Allie enjoying the warm weather!

The last week or so, the girls have been asking to sleep altogether on the top bunk. I love how they giggle and chat as they go to bed each night!

Happy Christmas 2021

Christmas...it really is the most wonderful time of the year. I know that's so cheesy but as I posted all of these pictures, the though...
