Ava and Allie

Ow Charlie

There's a video on youtube that is so funny. A little boy puts his finger in his baby brother's mouth and gets bit. I know it doesn't sound funny but just look it up. We had a moment like that in our house. Unfortunately I wasn't taping when it happened but started right after.

YAY FOR SPRING!!

I LOVE summer. I LOVE warm weather. Seriously, I should live down south somewhere with how much I hate cold weather. I'm so excited that it's getting warmer. We played outside yesterday at our neighbor's swing set. Allie is walking outside for the first time! I think she loved it too:-)

Free Samples

There's a really cool website that gives lists and lists of free samples that you can sign up for. So I started signing up! They add stuff every 24 hours too. This is all the stuff I've received in the mail since starting this in January. The cool thing is that most of the samples come with coupons for that product. I received two coupons for a free box of Always pads with the Always sample. Pretty sweet! And here's the website if you're interested:

Here's what I can do!

My friend Hillary posted all the fun things that her daughter can do on her blog and I thought it was such a great idea!! Sydney is one smart, adorable little girl too!

Here are some of Allie's favorites and a few tricks!
Favorites:
Food - everything... seriously the girl is a great eater
show - Little Einstein
book - Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do you See?
Toy - stacking cups and walker
person - Ava:-)

Things she can do:
Wave bye and hi
say - bye bye, da da, mama, papa, Ava (sorta!), ba (ball), and I think she said "Maya" once!
give hugs and open mouth kisses
blow kisses
raise her arms when we ask her how big she is
walk with no problem
dance
sing (constantly)
knows what an elephant, lion, and a fishy "say"
Walks straight to the bathroom when we say the word "bath"
plays patty cake
gives high fives
This stage that she's in (actually from 1 to 2) is my favorite. I love how she learns things so quickly and everything is intriguing to her. She is so much fun and is such a sweet heart. I love watching her grow and interact with us everyday!

My walking little lady!

Getting better!

Walking great but gets distracted easily!

I love Walgreens (and coupons)

I made a trip to Walgreens tonight and my total bill was $90.77. Crazy I know. How can you spend that much at a drug store!? But I actually only spent......
$4.58!!!!!!
How awesome is that!? I saved $86.19!!! Yay:-) I'm so excited. Everything below was free, except one of the 20 ounce cokes plus the tax on $90.

Fun with cousins

Ava LOVES playing with her cousins. Everet and Anika are twins and are 8 months older than Ava. They usually get along great and trash my house playing with anything and everything they can find. I followed them around today and took some pictures. Oh and I couldn't resist giving Everet a mohawk. He hated it!

Watching Shrek in my bed!

Mmmm Spaghetti!

We had spaghetti for lunch today and Maya and Allie got a little messy!!

Yay for deals!

I don't normally buy air fresheners but since I started using coupons, if I see a great (and I mean almost free) deal on them, I'll get it. I felt like this was a pretty good deal. At Walgreens you can use a $4 off store coupon for this Sense & Spray air freshener, which would bring it down to $6.99. I also had a $4 off manufacturer's coupon so I was able to stack them and get this for $2.99, normally $10.99! Pretty sweet!

Also, my friend Margaret let me know that Rite Aid has Mento's gum on sale for $.99 each. I had eight $1 off coupons for Mento's gum. So I received all 8 of these for FREE!!! I love free stuff. These deals are going through Saturday so if you have the coupons, it's worth it!
