Life Lately...

Life is good, and busy, and eventful, and too fast. The quote that I always think about with kids is "the days are long and the years are short." It's so true. Although, lately with how busy we have been, it seems that even the days are short!

During spring break, we took the girls to Airtime in Novi. They had a ton of fun playing on the trampolines. I even joined in, and let me tell ya, it was a great workout!

We had our basement painted. We just need carpet and some decorations and it should be all finished!

May brought an end to CL2 with the Impact students. We have had a great year with them. We have continued into cross training and preparing for our trip to Ohio in June.

The Commerce El staff played in a volleyball game with Dublin, against Pleasant Lake and Keith. We got our butts beat but still had a great time. Right before the game, the Walled Lake Northern Volleyball team put on a clinic for kids. Ava and Allie did great!

Ava started softball. She's on a great team! She has pretty much played every position so far, except pitcher. She really loves it and is doing great.

The girls are really into Rubik's Cubes right now. Allie ordered these four off of Amazon with a gift card she received for her birthday.
I had a dinner date with these girls before Ava's softball game.

Ava was in a choir concert at Northern. She did a great job. Can you see her down there!? We were in the balcony! Ava is fifth from the left in the first row!

We went to Tiger Stadium for their Home Plate program. They had players, umps, and announcers who are Christians, speak. They even had the lead singer from Sanctus Real sing some songs. It was a great day. After the program, we were able to go down on the field and listen to a pitching, batting, and fielding clinic by some of the players.

Our tickets for the game were in the upper bowl, but after we left the field we decided to sit down in the 16th row and wait to see if anyone had those seats! It was pretty empty around us and we were able to sit down there for the entire game!

My family was very kind to me for mother's day! I had to be to church early, so they spent two hours cleaning the entire house. And then I came home to this sweet note with all the candy, and some more cards from the girls! I'm so blessed to be a mom to three lovely ladies.

Spring always brings storms and with that, we get some amazing sunsets!

The girls took their spring pictures at school! It's hard to believe that there are only 4 1/2 weeks left of school.

So that's life lately. We're looking forward to a busy and fun summer.
