October and November '14

The last post about September, actually went into October as well! So here's what has been happening in the Epley family since the middle of October!

The girls had their school pictures. They turned out great! Ava is in 3rd grade, Allie is in 1st and Hannah is in pre-school.

We went to the Fall Fair at the girls' school. They had a lot of fun playing games, going through the haunted hallway and getting faces painted. Ava actually spent most of the evening hanging out with her friends. So that begins!

The DeJonges had their annual Halloween party. We had a great time with friends and carving pumpkins!

The girls has their parties at school for Halloween! Hannah was a candy corn princess for her school and then Little Red Riding Hood for trick-or-treating.

Allie was Merida from Brave! Love that red wig!

Ava was a cheer leader!

Halloween was a very cold day! It snowed in the evening. We went to Chris and Miranda's to trick-or-treat and celebrate Braden's birthday. Chris hooked up his trailer with lights and music and a cover. It was a lot of fun, but very cold!

We're still eating left over Halloween candy!
In November, Mike and I went to one of our Cl2 student's wedding. Jessy Shaw got married. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception!

Allie lost her first tooth! Finally! She was very excited about that.

We had some allergy testing done for Hannah. That was an interesting experience. She did great and everything came back negative!

We took the girls ice skating for the first time! They loved it. It takes quite a while to get the hang of it but they all caught on fairly quickly. It helps that they have those little plastic things to hold on to while learning!

Hannah had a Thanksgiving concert and play. It was very cute!

Our friends brought home a stray cat that turned out to be pregnant. So a few weeks after they got her, she had five cute little kittens. We broke down and took one home with us! She is so adorable! Meet Lucy.

THe girls love her. And she loves the girls. She also loves Sadie now too. They play all the time. Felix is not so thrilled with her.

We bought a new front door! Can't wait to get a new garage door to match, and one that works!

Thanksgiving was at Jeff and Tara's this year. It was a nice time eating with family and remembering how blessed we are. On Friday, we had another Thanksgiving dinner at the Epleys. That was also a great time with family!

Our volleyball team came in first place!! It's the first time we've taken first on the Monday night division 1 side!

These two are constantly playing like this.

Emilia is getting so big!

Hannah and I went to Sommerset with Nolan and Tonya. That was a fun day!

It's been a wonderful Fall. We are looking forward to a lovely Christmas season. November was cold and snowy, but December has been pretty mild. At least, not a lot of snow. I could handle that all winter!
