Vacation!

We head out east to Massachusettes every summer. Mike's family has been going since his mom was a baby since they have lots of extended family out there. We usually go in July. This year we decided to go in September for two reasons. The main one being that his Cousin Alexandra had her baby in August and we would get to meet her! The second reason was because it's the off season and everything is half price. Our cottage last year was $1700 for the week, this year it was only $400 (a different cottage but still:-). We had two great beach days on Monday and Tuesday and the girls (and us too) love hanging out on the beach all day. The rest of the week was too cold to stay down at the beach. It was a very uneventful and relaxing vacation. Next year, we're definitely flying though!

The Seacoast Science Center Touch pool! The
girls love touching all the little sea creatures.

Ava with two star fish.

Allie liked the star fish too!

Checking out a lion fish.

Mike and Allie at Michael's Harborside, a really
great seafood restaurant.

It was right on the harbor and Ava liked going
outside to feed the seagulls and ducks our bread!

Our dinner, not yet cooked, crawling around the table.

The girls thought they were creepy, but cool.

Fully steamed and delicious!

Our best beach day. It was in the 80's. Ava met a friend
too. Her name was Kaliegh and she was 5. They had
a lot of fun together.

Allie thought the water was too cold at first!

"yeah I think I'll go play in the sand."

Much warmer and happier!

The water was not too cold for my little fish.
